First, at the end of the sole, a notch design enhances versatility by enabling the leading edge to sit flush with the turf when the face is open. Second, full-face grooves on the 56, 58, and 60 generate maximum spin across the entire face, including the toe, an area commonly struck on open-faced flop shots. The Snakebite is equally competent when used with a more traditional, square-faced approach to chips and pitches.

Three grinds are available, including V (versatile), C (classic), and W (widelow).
